We are deeply saddened to hear about the death of
great journalist and freedom of speech activist, Mohamed Rashid Muhumed Farah,
who was the secretary general of Somaliland Journalists Association (SOLJA).
Mohamed was a man who stood for freedom of expression a moment many deserted.
He was gentle, committed and brave soul. He stood with
journalists in difficulty and never gave up.
Human Rights Centre sends sincere
condolences to the family and friends of Mohamed Rashid.
