Time to end terrorism

Eid Mubaarig to the family members, friends and everyone else. To those who fasted so long and endured thirst and hunger, it shows your strength and commitment. Ramadaan unites so many people in different environments, languages, cultures and political systems. It is time we all speak one language and say no to intolerance. Let us be peaceful Moslems who respect each other and respect the others.

In Ramadaan we refrain from all evils and curb our apatite. We all direct to ourselves prayers. However, there are people who are Moslems, but kill innocent children, women and men around the globe. They increase their barbaric actions during Ramadam. Lives were lost in Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan and other places.

Let us say in one voice no to the terrorists. It is time we do not watch, but act to defend the true interpretation of Islam.

Few hardliners hijacked Islam and the mainstream Moslems are silent and busy with their daily lives. We are suffering from the actions of these extremists whom we did not give a mandate to speak or act on behalf of us.

Why we shall not act on our will. The time of blaming outsiders on our mismanagement and the failure of our leaders shall come to an end.

Atrocities are committed every day on the name of Islam. The burning towns, villages and cities are inhabited by Moslems. Just watch the TV; the headlines are Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Somalia. It is not good news, it is the worst news you may ever hear.

Let us end terrorism.
